First, thank you all for your support over the years. After selling over 1.2 million sets of "Knot Cards", I decided to expand the format *a little*! A book offers so much more space for the illustrations and text and of course more pages can be done than with the portable little cards. But since with a book you do lose that portability factor, I included with this title a set of the best selling version of my knot cards. John Sherry has been illustrating knots and writing about knots for more than 25 years. His knot illustrations are used for training by the US Department of Defense, US Customs and Border Protection, municipal fire departments, scout troops, sailing schools, utility companies and many search and rescue organizations. He is president of Pro-Knot, a company that publishes waterproof plastic knot cards for fishermen, boaters, campers and anyone that finds themselves with a rope in hand, and has sold over one million of the popular knot card sets. A well written, organized and illustrated book on all the knots one would ever need to know. Especially useful in detailing the best uses of a specific knot.Had fun over Christmas with 7 year old grandson tying a few ..... sure beats doing LEGO!
